    Evangelical Community Hospital Health Careers Internship Program
    Evangelical would like to extend the opportunity to participate in the High School Healthcare Careers Internship Program to those eligible students completing their junior or senior year of high school with a cumulative GPA of 88% or better. The 72 hour internship program provides 32 hours in the classroom and 40 hours of one-on-one interaction with healthcare professionals. Students will learn a variety of skills including CPR certification, lifting and transfer techniques, and personal care skills. Applications will be accepted until May 3, 2021. Two letters of recommendation and an official transcript should accompany the application.     If your student takes an online Driver's Education Course in lieu of the DHS course (DriversEd.com/Pennsylvania), please be advised that the course can be placed on your student's transcript with a grade but the Danville Area School District does not accept the online credit. If you would like the grade to be placed on your student's transcript, or if you have any other questions, please contact the guidance office at 570-271-3268 EXT 1150.

    UA Local 520 Plumbers, Pipefitters, HVAC/R Service Techs
     is now accepting applications for apprenticeships. This tuition-free training included healthcare and retirement benefits, 45 college credits upon program completion, associate's degree tuition reimbursement, and a starting wage of $18.76 per hour.
