About Me

  •              My education includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State.  I have had a diverse career having worked in firms concentrating on structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, in chemical firms concentrating on gas chromatography and statistical process control, and I have experience with AutoCad.  For those who are unfamiliar with AutoCad, it is a leader in 2D and 3D computer drafting software.  It is used in design, drafting, modeling, architectural drawing, and engineering.

I am excited to bring to your student the wonderful world that engineering can provide.  Engineering is interesting work, that can pay well, and the lifestyle it can afford is definitely worth all the effort.  I have been fortunate to have my degree carry me through a variety of career areas.

I will be teaching STEM with a focus on the Engineering Design Process this year.  I hope to engage your student so that these principles become more than just some vague concept about science, technology, engineering and math.  My goal is to inspire all my students to seriously consider careers in the sciences.  There is much opportunity available today for the determined individual in a STEM career field.
