    ONLINE DRIVER'S EDUCATION INFORMATION

    If your student takes an online Driver's Education Course in lieu of the DHS course, please be advised that the course can be placed on your student's transcript with a grade but the Danville Area School District does not accept the online credit. If you would like the grade to be placed on your student's transcript, or if you have any other questions, please contact the guidance office at 570-271-3268 EXT 1150

    June 6 -- SNOW MAKE UP DAY (THERE WILL BE SCHOOL)

    May 21,22    Literature Exam

     

    NO SCHOOL:

    SENIOR CLASS TRIP TO POCONOS -  May 28

    Bus departure 9 AM (Stadium Circle)

    Return:  Approximately 10 PM

    **Students not attending class trip are expected to attend school.

     

    VALEDICTION:   May 30 7 PM  Whitey McCloskey Center

    Mandatory for Seniors

    Student Dress:  Cap & Gown worn over dress clothing

    Rehearsal:  2:20 (9th Period)

    Award Winners Photo:  6 PM in gym

    All other students report 6:15 PM

     

    GRADUATION:  June 7   7 PM  Whitey McCloskey Center

    Graduation Practice (Mandatory for students to participate in  Graduation Ceremony):  10 AM in gym

    12 Noon:  Senior Class Luncheon

    12:30:  Posed Formals by Strawbridge (Picture Envelope/Payment Needed along w/ Cap & Gown)  Upper Gym

    5:45:  Class of 2019 Photo in Gym  (Please be prompt)

    7:00  Graduation Ceremony in gym  7 PM  

    Cap & Gown over dress clothing (caps may NOT be decorated!)

     

    SPORTS PHYSICALS:

    June 11 & 12   5 PM   Geisinger Woodbine Orthopedics Clinic  $5   Must register online (instructions below):

     

    We are excited to announce that we are now offering the convenience of online registration through FamilyID (www.familyid.com). 

    When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs.

    REGISTRATION PROCESS: 

    A parent/guardian should register by clicking on this link:

    https://www.familyid.com/danville-area-school-district

    Follow these steps:

    1. To find your program, click on the link provided by the Organization above and select the registration form under the word Programs.
    2. Next click on the green Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.
    3. Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.
    4. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).
    5. Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com
    6. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.
    7. Click the Continue button when your form is complete.
    8. Review your registration summary.
